Dinovate is seeking an experienced Field Research Coordinator to lead the formative research for an upcoming drama series focused on substance abuse, family dynamics, and recovery.

This role is at the heart of ensuring the authenticity of the project by conducting meaningful community engagement through focus groups, interviews, and conversations with individuals and families across Lagos. The insights gathered will directly shape the story and ensure it reflects real experiences with accuracy, empathy, and cultural relevance.


About the Role

As the Field Research Coordinator, you will take ownership of the entire field research processโ€”from planning and coordinating field activities to recruiting and managing research assistants, conducting sensitive interviews, and delivering high-quality research findings that will guide the creative development of the series.

This position requires someone who can approach sensitive topics with professionalism, compassion, and the highest ethical standards.


Who Should Apply?

We're looking for a professional who has:

  1. Several years of qualitative field research experience.
  2. Strong interviewing, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  3. Experience conducting focus group discussions and in-depth interviews.
  4. Ability to work confidently with sensitive social issues.
  5. Fluency in English, Yoruba, and Nigerian Pidgin.
  6. Excellent organizational and team management skills.
